Monica DiIorio is the author of Power Pet Heroes: The Adventures of Baxter the Unusual Cat and A Nativity Song: Angels Wake the Forest. She is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and author who enjoys life in her cozy yellow home by the ocean in beautiful Connecticut. She shares her space with two adorable cats that love lounging on the furniture. Monica has a green thumb and tends to a lovely garden filled with colorful flowers and fresh vegetables. She also enjoys brewing a pot of tea using one of the charming teapots in her kitchen! Having spent many happy years in education and libraries, Monica has worked as a school librarian in elementary, middle, and high schools.
